Cool stuff for your house
I'm much more a fan of gadgets than stuff. Because most stuff is crap and crap just leads to clutter since I'm too lazy to throw it away. Unless the stuff is cool stuff, as determined by me. And this, well, this is cool stuff.
Cribcandy grabs thumbnail pictures of the coolest things for your home, from a $90,000 6-foot-long anti-gravity sculpture to a $2.49 corb cob slicer.

Kitschy but cool TVs
I was pretty sure that my next television would be a high-def plasma. About the only thing that could override that would be one of these babies, made by Norm and his five buddies in the basement of his house under the name "Predicta". These are straight reproductions of the old Philco Predicta line, but with modern electronics. Gorgeous. [props to MeFi]
(Now what I really want to do is replace the 4x3 standard def screen with a high def screen behind the curved glass front (don't want to lose that "big glowing eyeball" look!) Oh, and maybe put in an Infinity center channel speaker where the old speaker box is, so I can integrate this seamlessly into the Dolby 7.1 Surround Sound system. Have the cake. Eat the cake. Have the cake. Eat the cake.)

eHub - the latest greatest tech
I love the gadget sites like Gizmodo, but eHub looks even more useful, as it takes emerging technologies and does a bit deeper dive...
eHub is a constantly updated list of web applications, services, resources, blogs or sites with a focus on next generation web (web 2.0), social software, blogging, Ajax, Ruby on Rails, location mapping, open source, folksonomy, design and digital media sharing.

Shell game
How fast are your eyes? This shell game is a quick and fun little test. Instructions are not in English but I trust you'll figure it out.

Picking the right shell after all eight tries leads to this rather lame payoff. I got all the way through on my second try.
