I had to put this movie link on a separate page so I could give you a little background. Matt's quite an accomplished piano player. He has a natural "ear" and has been improvising and composing on the piano for the past two years. At the time of this video, he was nine years old.
Matt's piano teacher is also one of the two Music Ministers at our church, Tiburon Baptist Church. Great place, good people. Matt had always wanted to play the organ at church, so Beth was going to let him try it. This was the first time he had ever played an organ.
In front of the whole church, Matt chose to play an arrangement of "Angels We Have Heard On High" that he had composed himself.
I think it's pretty incredible. At least if the whole college thing doesn't pan out, we know that any skating rink in the country would hire this guy!
